Description

The Bridge of Dean is a large structure featuring a semi-circular main arch accompanied by a small side arch, both made of small rusticated ashlar. It was erected by Admiral Popham in the mid-19th century. The bridge was re-categorised in 2006 from grade B to grade C(S) due to its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building, as is appropriate for its type.
