Description

The Old Bridge of Dean is a packbridge, built around the 17th century, with a deck that is 8 feet 6 inches wide. It features two semi-circular arches that have cutwaters and balconies above them. The northern arch was destroyed by Admiral Popham and was reconstructed in 1878, during which some unusual ornaments were added.
