Description
Campfield in Dalginross is a small, two-storey late classical mansion built in 1858. It is constructed from rubble with raised quoins at the corners and features an asymmetrical design. The south front has three bays, with the left-hand bay slightly projecting and a tripartite window on the ground floor. There is a bracketed doorpiece and a ground floor window on the right side. The east elevation has two windows, with a canted bay on the left and a bracketed window on the right. At the rear, there is a lower wing. The mansion has low-pitched, piended slated roofs with bracketed eaves.
In addition to the main house, there are outbuildings, steadings, a small walled garden, stables, and a coachman's house, all of simple traditional character and dating from the same period.
