Description

Late 19th to early 20th century. 2-storey, 10-bay terrace comprising symmetrical 3-bay cottage to left (No 3), near-symmetrical 3-bay cottage to centre (No 4) and asymmetrical 4-bay cottage to right (No 5). Harled. Base course. Cement cills and plain architraved doorways toNos 3 and 4.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: No 3: part-glazed boarded door at ground in bay to centre; window at 1st floor above; window at each floor in bays flanking. No 4; part-glazed door at ground in bay to centre; window, breaking eaves at 1st floor above. Window breaking eaves at 1st floor in bay to left. Window at ground with window breaking eaves at 1st floor above in bay to right. No 5: Modern timber door at ground in bay to right of centre. Non-aligned window at each floor in bay to right. Window at 1st floor in bay to left. Small window at ground in bay to outer left.

N (SIDE) ELEVATION: 2-bay gabled wall. Window at ground in bay to right. Window at each floor in bay to right. Gablehead stack above

W (REAR) ELEVATION: irregularly fenestrated.

Predominantly 9- and 12-pane timber sash and case windows; 2-pane windows with top-hung lights to number 5; modern slate; harled, coped stacks; moulded cans; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.
