Description

Mid tolater 19th century with later alterations and additions. 2-storey 5-bay terrace comprising asymmetrical 2-bay house with attic to left (No 59) and 3-bay symmetrical house to right, (No 57). Cement-rendered and lined with cement margins to openings, painted to left.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: No 59: part-glazed boarded door at ground in bay to right; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in bay to right. Flat-roofed double box dormer above. No 57: deep-set timber panelled door with 3-light rectangular fanlight and 2-leaf boarded storm doors at ground in bay to centre; window at 1st floor above. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.

12-pane timber sash and case windows to right; modern top tilt timber-framed windows to left; uPVC top tilt dormer windows; 2 rooflights set to left to No 57. Grey slate; stone ridge; concrete ashlar skews and coped gablehead stacks; coped rubble ridge stack; decorative octagonal and moulded corniced cans; uPVC rainwater goods.
