Description

19th century with later alterations. 3 storey, 3-bay symmetrical rectangular-plan town house with rectangular-plan wing to rear. Harled with cement painted margins to openings.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: deep-set boarded door at ground in bay to centre; window at each floor above. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.

S (SIDE) ELEVATION: gable wall with single window set to right at 1st floor; gablehead stack above.

9- and 12-pane timber sash and case windows (4-pane to side). Old Orkney grey slate roof; stone ridge; stone skews; tall gablehead stacks (shouldered to N); decorative octagonal can to S; fluted rectangular cans to N; uPVC rainwater goods.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1997.

GARDEN WALL: random rubble wall with rubble cope extending S from S elevation; 2-leaf boarded gates set to right, abutting S elevation.
