19-21 Campbell Street, Wishaw

19-21 Campbell Street in Wishaw is a townhouse built in 1895. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure with a symmetrical rectangular plan, featuring a heavily corbelled cornice and a blocking course on its piended roof. The building is constructed from red ashlar sandstone and has a base course string course between the first and second floors, along with projecting rusticated quoins.

On the southwest (principal) elevation, there are stone steps leading to a central two-leaf panelled timber door, which is topped by a fanlight and framed by a plain architrave. The door reveal has a rolled moulding, and there is a consoled and cavetto moulded segmental canopy above it. The tympanum is dated 1895 and indicates that this was the Parish Council Chambers. To the right of the door is a window, and to the left is a bipartite window. The first floor features segmental-arched windows with cavetto moulded architraves and consoled cills in the bays.

The northeast (rear) elevation was not seen in 2000. The southeast (side) elevation has a single window at the centre of the ground floor, and the northwest (side) elevation also has a single window at the centre of the ground floor. The ground floor windows are timber plate glass sash and case, while the upper floor windows are boarded. The roof is covered with grey slate and has lead flashing, with bracketted and coped stacks on the sides topped with unusual finialed cans. The interior was not seen in 2000.
