Description

Late 19th cnetury. Single and 2-storey, irregular-plan former manse (part demolished), consisting of single storey, square-plan block with piended U-plan roof, and 2-storey tower, canted to front and rear with piended roof. Stugged and snecked red sandstone, polished dressings, slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles. Moulded cast-iron rainwater gutters to tower. Projecting 3-light windows (some mullions removed) with stained glass panels to top under deep eaves, canted windows to 1st floor of tower; margined angles; deep terracotta tile diaper work band at wallhead and 1st floor windows; paired diamond ridge stacks.

FRONT ELEVATION: tower recessed to left; panelled door to centre with pedimented doorcase, full-width window above. Main block advanced to right; 2 symmetrically-placed windows, 2 similar windows to right return elevation.

REAR ELEVATION: 2 windows to left, window at 1st floor of tower to right, right return elevation blank (rendered following part demolition).

INTERIOR: no special features.
