Invercloy House, Invercloy, Brodick

Invercloy House is a late 19th century single storey and attic villa located in Brodick. It features three bays and includes a shop on part of the ground floor. The building is constructed from red ruble sandstone, with coursed stonework on the front and ashlar dressings, topped by a slate roof. The windows are 4-pane sash and case style, with chamfered jambs, and there are dormer-headed windows in the attic that have finialled pediments. The building also has ashlar-coped skews and corniced end stacks.

The front elevation includes a central door with a fanlight and chamfered jambs, a window to the left, and two attic windows. The shopfront is set forward to the right and features a decorative metal parapet, while a large canted Venetian-type window in the attic is swept to a square shape at the finialled gablehead. There are two windows on the left return elevation and one on the right. The interior has not been seen.
