Royal Bank Of Scotland And House, Invercloy, Brodick, Arran

The Royal Bank of Scotland and House in Invercloy, Brodick, Arran, is an early 20th-century, two-storey villa with a rectangular plan and a single-storey bank wing. The front is constructed of red ashlar sandstone, while the sides are made of coursed stone, topped with piended slate roofs. The front features a base course, predominantly with multi-pane sash and case windows, and two-pane windows in the bank wing. The first-floor windows are architraved, and the side elevations have pediments with paired corniced stacks and raised wallheads that break through the eaves.

On the north (front) elevation of the villa, there is a central door with a fanlight and moulded jambs. To the left, there is a flat-roofed canted window that is slightly advanced, and to the right, a bipartite window. The first floor has three windows. In the bank bay, there is a slightly advanced doorpiece with a console and cornice to the left, along with a panel above it, and a corniced window to the right. The right return elevation has two additional windows, and a coped wallhead partially conceals the piended roof.

The side elevations feature a first-floor window as described above. The rear elevation was not seen, and the interior was also not seen.
