Description
Heathfield is a late 19th-century single-storey and attic villa with three bays. It is constructed from snecked red sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. The villa has sash and case windows, with two panes at the bottom and twelve panes at the top. Gabled dormer-headed windows break through the eaves, showcasing exposed trusses, plain bargeboards, and decorative cast-iron finials. The eaves are deep and bracketed, and there are corniced stacks at the ends.
On the front elevation, there is a central door framed by a moulded timber doorcase and a fanlight. To the left and right of the door, there are bipartite projecting windows that are linked by a slate pentice roof supported by openwork brackets at the inner angles. At the first floor, there are two dormer-headed windows, with a smaller similar dormer located at the centre. The interior has not been seen.
