Description

The Powder House in Golffields, Irvine, is a small, single-storey octagonal building dating from 1642, with restoration work possibly completed in 1992. The exterior is harled and painted, featuring a conical roof covered in grey tiles, topped with a stone finial and a wrought-iron weather vane. The entrance is secured by a wrought-iron yett.
