Description
11 and 13 College Street in St Andrews is a building dating from around 1530, with an additional wing added around 1560. It is designed in an L-shape over two storeys and an attic, enclosing a small courtyard. The front features four windows on the first floor and three windows on the ground floor, along with a round-arched doorway and a square-headed close. There are two swept dormers above. In the courtyard, there is a round-arched doorway that has a fragment from the cathedral above it. The exterior is harled, with most openings splayed, and the roof is covered with pantiles. The building has a vaulted undercroft, while the interior has been largely renewed during renovations in 1970.
