Description

Early and earlier 19th century. Single storey terrace of houses. Rubble stone, harled, rendered and painted.

NOS 27-31:

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: now single house, originally 3 dwellings. Asymmetrical, door to centre, window-door-window to right, door-window to left. Plain openings. Harled and painted. Rounded pier to right in re-entrant angle with No 31.

E ELEVATION: blind gable end, rubble stone extension to left.

Variety of modern glazing. Grey slate, skews, gablehead stack to E, later brick stack to W sharing gable with No 31.

INTERIOR: see notes.

NO 33:

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: mid-terrace, 3 bays, door to centre in pilastered and painted surround slightly off to left. Windows flanking with ashlar cills, attic with piended dormers above. Walls painted.

Modern glazing. Grey slate, skews, gablehead stacks to left and right.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.

NO 35:

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: mid-terrace, symmetrical, 3 bays, door to centre in plain SW round, windows flanking with ashlar cills.

Timber sash and case windows. Grey slate, pitch set lower than No 33, stack to left shared with No 33.

INTERIOR: not seen, 1996.
