Description

Earlier to mid 19th century, 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house. Squared and snecked sandstone, harled at sides, painted all round.

SW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: central entrance door with later brick built porch, piend-roofed with segment-arched openings. Bays symmetrical with ashlar cills, painted margins. Tooled finish to wall. Eaves band.

NE ELEVATION: single bay lighting staircase at 1st floor landing. Ground floor obscured by later lean-to.

NW ELEVATION: gable end. Single windows ground and 1st floors off set to right.

SE ELEVATION: single window 1st floor off set to left. Ground floor observed by later garage addiction.

4-pane timber frame window 1st floor to rear, otherwise modern. Grey slate, skews, gablehead stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.

BOUNDARY WALLS: rubble stone boundary wall with coping to Mill Road, later brick dwarf wall with coping to Annick Road.
