Description
7-9 Eglinton Street is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, two-bay classical tenement. It is constructed from ashlar sandstone and features a base course, cornice, and blocking course, along with quoin strips and architraved windows. The left bay has paired pilastered doors beneath a unifying entablature, with deep-set doors that include small-pane fanlights, and a window to the right. On the first floor, there are two windows.
The building has twelve lying-pane timber windows and a canted, slate-hung piend-roofed dormer on the left. The ashlar skews and gablehead stacks are complemented by grey slates on the roof.
