Description
Cuir na Bhoir is a single-storey, three-bay thatched cottage located at 51 Balgarva in Eochar on the Isle of South Uist. Likely built in the 19th century, it features a central door and a single window in the center of the rear elevation. The cottage has rubble-built and rendered walls with curved angles and end chimney stacks. The roof is made of reed or straw thatch, which is secured with netting and a single thick rope above the eaves.
