Description
Corrodale Cottage, located at 96 Bualadubh in Eochar on the Isle of South Uist, is likely a 19th-century, single-storey, three-bay Skye-type thatched cottage. It features a central door and a single window in the centre of the east wall. The walls are built of rubble with squared angles, and there are end chimney stacks. The roof is made of marram thatch with overhanging eaves, secured with netting and stone weights. The cottage was renovated for use as holiday accommodation after 2005.
