Description
153 Howmore is a probably 19th-century Skye-type thatched cottage. It is a single-storey building with a centre-doored, three-bay east front and a single window on the east wall. The cottage is constructed from rubble and features curved angles. It has end stacks and a muran thatch roof, which is secured with ropes and stone weights. There are derelict outbuildings located to the south and west of the cottage.
