Description
Seann Taigh is a single-storey, three-bay cottage located at 472a South Lochboisdale on the Isle of South Uist. Likely built in the 19th century, it features a central door and a single window in the centre of the rear wall. The cottage is constructed from rubble with roughly-squared angles and painted reveals, and it has end chimney stacks. The roof is thatched with heather, which is netted and secured with wire and stone weights. After 2004, the cottage was renovated for use as holiday accommodation.
