Description
The Parish Church in Garrabost, Lewis, is a building of uncertain date, likely from the late 19th century. It shares a similar design with the church at Barvas. The church features a piend-roof and is a large box-type structure with tall, narrow windows arranged in five by two bays. The entrance is located on the east side, marked by a wide arched doorway set between the windows, with a wall-head belfry above. The exterior is harled with painted margins, and the roof is slated, equipped with an axial ventilator and small-paned glazing. There is a vestry or session house on the west side, which was re-windowed in 1989. The interior was not inspected during the 1989 resurvey.
