Description
4-6 George Street in Fochabers is an early 19th century building that originally consisted of two single-storey and attic cottages facing east, which have now been combined into a single dwelling. The exterior features pointed rubble with contrasting painted tooled ashlar margins. The front displays an alternating pattern of doors and windows, with a single window on the gable facing Spey Street. There are three substantial later piended dormers with 4-pane glazing. The building has coped end and ridge stacks, and is topped with a Banffshire slate roof. A modern bathroom addition has been made to the rear.
