Description
69 North Street in Aberchirder is an earlier 19th-century building that was originally a pair of single-storey cottages. The structure has been merged into one and features five bays, arranged in a 3-2 grouping. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins, while the sides and rear are constructed from rubble.
The building has two-leaf boarded doors that include letterbox fanlights, with a window positioned in the center and additional windows in the outer bays. The windows are sash and case style with a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes three small skylights. Red sandstone is used for the coped skews and ridge, as well as for the skewputts and stacks.
