19 The Square, Aberchirder

19 The Square in Aberchirder is a mid-19th century, two-storey, four-bay terrace consisting of two houses, with some later alterations and a single-storey wing at the rear. The building features coursed ashlar with a base course, cill course, and cornice, while the sides and rear are made of squared and coursed granite that is less regular. The ground floor is currently used as a shop, with an entrance on the left. There is a doorway between the first and second bays, which has a 4-pane fanlight and is flanked by windows. The former doorway between the third and fourth bays has been converted into a window, and a door has been inserted in the former window to the left, with another window to the outer right. The first floor has four windows and a wallhead chimney gable at the center, which features a blue and gold clock.

There is a window in the gable facing Market Street on the first floor. The windows are sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes two small skylights. The building has ashlar coped skews and stacks, decorative cans, and thackstanes, along with a stone ridge.
