Description
This is a house located at 2 Station Road in Portknockie, built around 1910. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure facing south. The exterior is made of rubble with contrasting painted joints and concrete dressings on the front. The central entrance features a panelled door, which is flanked by canted projecting windows that extend to the full height of the wall as wallhead dormers. The windows have modern two-pane glazing with wooden frames. The house has coped end stacks and slate roofs, which are adorned with red pottery ridge tiles and finials at the peaks of the dormers. The original rainwater goods are still in place. There is also a substantial rear wing attached to the house.
