Description

40 Church Street in Portknockie is a late 19th-century house featuring a single storey and attic, with three bays. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with contrasting painted concrete dressings and harled flanks. It has a corniced entrance in the center and canted wallhead dormers in the outer bays, with four-pane glazing. The house is topped with a slate roof and has coped end stacks.

Additionally, there is a single storey and attic, two-bay gabled timber fishing store to the west. This store has painted margins around its openings and a corrugated asbestos roof.
