Description

This is a single-storey and attic house located at 6 Station Road in Portknockie, built around 1910. It features three bays and is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted joints and concrete dressings. The entrance is centrally located and has a hoodmould, flanked by shallow, chamfered segmental-headed bipartite windows. The outer bays have canted wallhead dormers, while the center has a gabled dormer with shaped bargeboards, which includes modern two-pane glazing. The house has coped end stacks and slate roofs, along with decorative red pottery ridge tiles and shaped finials on the dormers.
