Description

Old Fochabers is a well-preserved market cross made of ashlar stone, dating from before 1769. It stands approximately 12 feet high and is designed in the form of a Tuscan column with a shallow square capital. The cross is located in the grounds of Gordon Castle, near the north wall of the walled garden.
