Description
4 Seafield Terrace in Portknockie is a house built around 1900. It is a single-storey structure with an attic, featuring three bays and a single-bay wing at the rear, which is also single-storey with an attic. The building is constructed of rubble with contrasting painted joints and concrete dressings, and the flanks are harled.
The main entrance has a wide hoodmould and is flanked by segmental-headed bipartite windows. There is a similar bipartite window on the west elevation of the rear wing, which faces Admiralty Street. The south frontage has canted wallhead dormers in the outer bays, along with a single similar dormer on the west side. The windows have modern two-pane glazing. The house features coped end stacks and a slate roof.
