Description
Earlier to mid 19th century. 2-storey and attic 3-bay symmetrical flatted villa. Yellow sandstone ashlar front, harled rear and sides. Base course; broad angle pilasters; eaves cornice with blocking course; raised margins to windows with rounded reveals, at ground floor corniced with bracketted eaves.
N (FRONT) ELEVATION: doorway to centre with Ionic pilasters, cornice and blocking course bearing tablet, 2-leaf panelled door, 4-pane fanlight and inner door with etched glass panel; single window at 1st floor and to outer bays. Large modern box dormer.
S (REAR) ELEVATION: rubble-built stairs giving access to 1st floor flats, panelled doors and 3-pane fanlights; single windows to flanking bays. Modern box dormers.
E ELEVATION: gabled; single windows to centre.
W ELEVATION: as above.
Timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing to front, mostly replacement windows to rear. Slate roof; gablehead stacks to E and W.
INTERIOR: not seen 1993.
