Description

1823-8; additions and alterations, Ross & Macbeth, 1891, 1904,

Chancel, Ross & Macbeth, 1907, vestry dated 1913; Perpendicular,

ashlar. Originally simple ractangle of 4 buttressed bays, the

buttresses pinnacled, those at the angles being diagonally set

with crocketted pinnacles; windows containing timber tracery

and surmounted by hoodmoulds. The late 19th and early

20th-century alterations provided a semi-octagonal, pinnacled

buttressed apse at the east, a similar gabled baptistry at the

west, a gabled porch at the north-west and vestry at the

north-east. Slated roofs.

Interior, a re-casting of the late 19th/early 20th century;

wrought-iron chancel screen; stone screen to baptistry; stone

pulpit with stair-baluster of cast-iron and brass; stone

font; plain pews; stained glass at apse, porch, baptistry and

one south window, by Holt & Co, Warwick, early 20th-century.
