Description

W L Carruthers 1892, Tudor, harled with ashlar dressings.

2 storeys, asymmetrical 4-bay front with end bays advanced

and gabled with semi-octagonal ashlar stair tower in

re-entrant angle of left-hand bay and main front. Tripartite

windows at left centre, other quadripartite, hoodmoulds at

ground floor; at stair tower, Tudor-arched doorpiece and

small rectangular windows with hoodmoulds at ground floor,

1st floor windows bipartite, mullioned and transomed with

Tudor-arched cusped lights, string course and parapet.

Gablets at 2 inner bays and gables of outer bays

half-timbered. Slated roof. South west wing dated 1925.
