Description
1A Annfield Road in Inverness is a pair of symmetrical houses built around 1865, constructed from ashlar stone with raised quoins and dressings. The buildings are two storeys high, with the ends advanced and featuring gabled roofs. Each house has a canted bay window on the ground floor and a bipartite window with round-arched lights on the first floor. The porches have bracketed pediments in the re-entrant angles. The central windows are bipartite with a bracketed cornice on the ground floor and bipartite with round-arched lights and gableted dormer heads on the first floor. The roof is slated. The property also includes gatepiers made of ashlar with segmental pedimented tops and a rubble garden wall.
