10 Glasgow Road, Paisley

10 Glasgow Road in Paisley is an early 19th-century pair of symmetrical houses, each three storeys high with an attic and three bays. The exterior is constructed of ashlar stone, with a division between the houses marked by a panelled pilaster strip. The front features architraved panelled doors topped with consoled cornices. The first-floor windows have moulded cill courses, with the central windows having pediments and the outer ones corniced, all fitted with two-pane sash windows. The eaves cornice and blocking course add to the architectural detail. The slate roof is complemented by corniced stacks. The rear elevations are made of rubble with ashlar dressings, and there are rounded staircase towers. Some of the original 12-pane glazing remains, and there are two piended dormers on each house.
