8 Glasgow Road And 2 Christie Street, Paisley

This early 19th-century building is a three-storey and attic, five-bay tenement located at 8 Glasgow Road and 2 Christie Street in Paisley. It features ashlar stonework with angle pilasters and has later shops added to the ground floor. The first-floor windows are architraved and have alternate cornices and pediments, with two-pane sash windows. The center window on each floor is blind.

The building has an eaves cornice and a blocking course with a shouldered stack that has been reduced. The slate roof includes skews and bipartite dormers, along with corniced end stacks. The side elevation facing Christie Street is similarly detailed to the front, but it has sash windows on the ground floor and lacks architraves on the first floor. There are cornices over the ground and second floors. The rear of the building is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a rounded stair tower.
