This early 19th-century building is a three-storey tenement with a basement and attic, featuring four bays in a Classical style. It is located on the east elevation next to Back Wynd Steps. The structure has been altered for shops on the ground floor and includes a distinctive central panelled and coped wallhead stack. It is constructed from grey granite ashlar and has a band course on the east side, an eaves cornice, and a blocking course. Some of the east-facing windows have round-arched openings, and there are a pair of piended bipartite dormers. The glazing varies, including plate glass and timber sash and case windows with 12 and 4 panes on the upper storeys, while the shops feature plate glass. There are also some blind openings on the east elevation.
