Description
30 and 32 King Street is an earlier 19th century, three-storey, three-bay Classical tenement building featuring altered shops on the ground floor. The building is constructed from grey granite ashlar, with rubble at the rear. The shop front is symmetrical, showcasing a central round-arched opening flanked by elliptical-arched openings. To the far right, there is a four-pane timber entrance door set within a narrow timber pilastered doorcase, topped by a semicircular astragalled fanlight. Additional architectural details include a band course, cill courses, and an eaves cornice. At the rear, there is a gabled stairwell.
The upper storeys are adorned with 12-pane timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slate and features coped gable stacks.
