Description

8 and 10 King Street is a four-storey, four-bay Classical tenement building dating from 1805. The structure is faced with grey granite ashlar, while the rear is constructed of rubble. It features a band course, cill courses, and an eaves cornice. On the far left, there is a six-panel timber entrance door with a multi-pane glazed rectangular fanlight above. The commercial premises have an off-centre, deep-set timber and glass entrance door.

The building predominantly has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, with plate glass used on the ground floor. Coped gable stacks are also present.
