Description
9, 10, and 11 Castle Street in Aberdeen is an early 19th century, three-storey and attic, three-bay Classical tenement that features a shop on the ground floor. The building is constructed of grey granite ashlar with rubble at the rear. The shop front has a timber fascia, and there is a moulded eaves course along the top. The roof includes a pair of canted piended dormers. A single-storey extension was added to the rear in the late 20th century.
The upper storeys predominantly have 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while the ground floor features plate glass windows. The roof is covered with grey slates and has coped gable stacks and raised skews.
