Description
Tower Place is a house located on Queen Street in Tain, built in the earlier part of the 19th century. It is two stories high with an attic and features three bays, including a central door, with two additional bays to the north and a gable end facing the street. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with dressed margins. The main three bays have 16-pane glazing, and there is one original piended dormer on the street side with 8-pane glazing. The house has end stacks and a slate roof. The property is enclosed by a coped rubble wall that is complemented by cast-iron spearhead railings and a small cast-iron gate.
