Description

Originally 2 storey, 3 bay house of circa 1800; later

additions creating cruciform plan. Large 2 storey wing added

circa 1840, projecting centre, east front of earlier house.

Square projecting crenellated porch to re-entrant angle

formed by two arms of building.

2 storey, 2 bay wing to rear (west) elevation of old house;

small single storey wings to gable ends. Some 12-pane glazing

survives. End stacks; slate roofs.

Interior: 1840 addition; dining room with drawing room above;

coved, enriched plaster ceiling to drawing room; small curved

stair with slender hand-rail.
