Description
This building is a traditional Dalriadic-type cottage, likely dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is a single-storey, three-bay structure with a gable-ended design. The cottage is built from rubble and features a pronounced batter. There is a central door flanked by two windows, which have modern single-pane glazing. The gable head stacks are notable features. The original thatched roof has likely been replaced by a corrugated-iron roof. To the south, there is a dry stone retaining wall with the steading, which has rubble walls and two entrances. The steading has a piended roof that is now felted.
