Description
Neist Point Lighthouse, built in 1909 by engineer D Alan Stevenson, consists of a single-storey courtyard range of buildings and a three-stage circular lighthouse. The structure features whitewashed coursed rubble with contrasting painted margins and long and short detailing. A corbelled upper balustraded walkway leads to the lighthouse. The three keepers' houses and ancillary buildings have flat roofs, all enclosed by a rubble wall.
