Description

The bridge at Armadale Castle on Skye was built between 1821 and 1825, designed by John Sinclair, the Superintendent. It features a tall, single Gothic arched design made of coursed rubble. The bridge has a low ashlar parapet that supports a splayed Gothic cast-iron balustrade, which includes round cast-iron terminal piers.
