Description

Porters Lodge at Armadale Castle on Skye is an early 19th-century building. It has an octagonal shape and is constructed from whitewashed rubble. Some Gothic-style glazing remains. The roof is also octagonal and covered with slate, featuring a central cluster of three square chimneys arranged in a diamond pattern, which have been renewed. There is a new wing added to the rear of the building. Inside, the ceilings have simple moulding.
