Description

Lodge: circa 1830-40. Picturesque tea-caddy design; single storey, 3 bays with centre door. Harled, contrasting long and short margins. Round headed centre door flanked by round-head bipartites; similar window to west gable (facing drive). Rounded corners, deep eaves, rounded piended West Highland slate roof with small central platform with centre ashlar stack. Gate piers: 3 later 19th century square gate piers; bullfaced rusticated stone with wide ashlar caps. Pair double and single pedestrian cast-iron gates with spear-head detailing.
