Description
The Walled Garden at Kingsburgh House on Skye is an early 19th century structure that features a two-storey house with an attic and three bays. It has a piended slate roof with paired ridge stacks. There are later 19th century additions, including a large projecting central wing with three gables that contains a central entrance. This wing has crowstepped gables topped with a ball finial at the apex. The outer ground floor bays of the old house have flanking tripartite windows added. There are also single-storey pavilions on either side, each with piended roofs and a single ridge chimney, connected to the old house by curved walls. The exterior is harled, and some 12-pane glazing remains. A walled garden is located to the north of the house.
