Description
Greshornish House is a large double pile house located on Skye. The rear portion dates from the mid to late 18th century, while the front block, which is two storeys high with an attic and three bays, was built in the early 19th century. The exterior is harled with stone margins. A projecting gabled porch was added in the later 19th century, along with a central dormer of the same period, which has flanking piended dormers. There is also a bow window on the right side that rises to full height and features a conical roof, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The house includes some 12-pane glazing, corniced end stacks, and slate roofs. Inside, the drawing room boasts an enriched coved ceiling. The property also includes a walled garden.
