Description

Earlier 19th century pair L-plan, single storey mirrored

gate lodges; harled with ashlar dressings. 2-bay south

elevations (blind windows in east lodge, facing road); bowed

elevations fronting pair cast-iron carriage gates; entrance

to west lodge in rear NE re-entrance in square porch with

shouldered lintel; 12-pane glazing, tall tooled ashlar coped

stacks, single and paired; shallow piended slate roofs with

projecting eaves supported by paired joists. East Lodge;

gutted, and converted to garage, with doors in rear NE

re-entrant.
