Description
Shiel House is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, four-bay house situated near Shiel Bridge and Shiel Farm. The house is harled and exhibits a near-centre projecting gabled porch with a small window to the right, otherwise displaying symmetrical fenestration to the south elevation. The windows are fitted with four-pane glazing. End stacks are present, and the roof is slate-covered. A wooden single-storey extension adjoins the west gable, and a lean-to is attached to the rear. The building was formerly known as Shiel House.
